Daisy
Daisy joined Hallam Veterinary Clinic in 2024. Her love for animals began as a child, her family home hosted what could only be described as a menagerie - dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, turtles - the list goes on! There was always a “furry friend” around to cuddle and love. This passion continued through adolescence, and influenced her decision to attend Urrbrae Agricultural High School in South Australia, where she experienced animal science and care in classes and on the school farm first-hand.
Daisy's career took an unrelated direction in the earlier years, a 7-year stint in Real Estate saw her achieve a Certificate IV in Real Estate Services, and upon leaving that chapter, transition to a B2B Account Manager role. However, she still harboured the (not-so-secret) dream of one day working with animals. Finally taking the plunge in 2023, Daisy obtained a Certificate II in Animal Care and is now studying a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. Needless to say, he is very excited to be on this journey and finally fulfill her dream!
As an ambitious and committed individual, she aimed to extend her skills and knowledge wherever possible, to provide the best care to every patient. she is always interested in furthering my education and development, so watch this space!
Outside of her professional pursuits, Daisy enjoys keeping healthy (whether that be a walk in my local area, a hike, yoga or a home workout), camping, reading, drawing and painting, indulging in Anime and K-dramas, and spending time with her friends, partner and cat “Hazel” (my pride and joy).
